ARTIST FAST FACTS<

Tim Hicks
With six consecutive Top 10 singles and nearly 4.7 million YouTube hits, Tim Hicks is on a serious roll. The 2014 crowned CCMA Rising Star is currently on his third single from the chart toping #1 Canadian Country Album 5:01, released summer 2014.

Moist
Multi-platinum rockers, triumphant return began with a series of exclusive sold-out shows last fall and culminates with the forthcoming release of their long awaited new album. “Mechanical”, the first single from Glory Under Dangerous Skies has been a top 5 rock radio smash in 2014. “The new album and the shows we’ve played this summer (2014) have reminded us all of how much fun it is writing music and performing together” says lead vocalist David Usher. “It feels very natural doing this with the band again and everything has just fallen into place. We’re really excited about the new music and the amazing reception we’ve had.” Since the release of Moist’s multi-platinum debut album, Silver, the band has chalked-up a long list of incredible accolades that include selling 1.3 million albums worldwide that include the 4x platinum debut album Silver (1994), the 3x platinum sophomore release, Creature (1996) and the double-platinum release, Mercedes Five & Dime (1999). The band holds 10 Juno nominations to their name along with two wins, Best New Group (1995) Best Video (1997) for “Gasoline”.

Big Wreck
The return of Big Wreck in 2012 with “Albatross” did much more than just re-ignite an old flame; the album debuted at #5 on the Top 200 SoundScan chart in Canada and hit #25 on the US Billboard HeatSeekers chart. The album’s lead single “Albatross,” also made Big Wreck the first Canadian band to hit #1 on the Canadian rock radio chart in over a year, a position they maintained for six weeks. Quite the feat considering they had just returned from a near decade long hiatus. Big Wreck approached the making of their fourth full-length album Ghosts, with a renewed sense of wonder toward the very things that turned them on to rock and roll in the first place. “Prior to this and before Albatross, I always had to sneak music in somewhere between a designed pop hit,” says frontman and guitarist Ian Thornley. “That was never really my bag. This time I just sort of said, ‘you know what, I’m going to make an album that I would really, really want to hear and that I’m madly in love with,’ and that’s what we did.”

Kira Isabella
Fresh off her recent JUNO nomination for Country Album of the Year, Kira has plenty to celebrate. In 2012, Isabella’s success garnered her the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Award for ‘Rising Star’ and, in 2013, she made her US debut with the release of “A Country Boy For Christmas” (HitShop Records). That year she was also nominated for a JUNO Award for ‘Breakthrough Artist of the Year’ and took home the 2013 CCMA Award for ‘Female Artist of the Year.’ While those achievements and her second consecutive nomination for the 2014 CCMA Award for ‘Female Artist of the Year’ are a thrill, fame has never been the driving force behind Isabella’s passion for music. Rather it’s her desire to make an impact in her listener’s lives with her songs. "That's something that's always been the most important to me; growing as a writer and a storyteller and, more than anything else, making music that people connect with personally.”

USS
Hailing from the periphery of Toronto, Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker has always been like a science experiment set to music -- what they do melts down acoustic rock, jungle, and trance, transforming it into an entirely new element. Since then, the duo of Vocalist/guitarist Ashley Boo-Schultz and hypeman/turntablist Human Kebab has travelled across North America, Europe and Asia, and has been recognized by both the CASBY and CMW Indie Awards. With Advanced Basics, USS returns with a fearless new album that includes the debut single “This Is The Best” which quickly shot to the Top 3 on Canadian Alternative Charts and earned the group their first Juno nomination at the 2015 Juno Awards.

Down With Webster
In the few years since practicing in their parents garage, their songs have charted at Top40 Radio, amassed 500,000 facebook family, sold 800,000 downloads, and 100,000 albums. Their videos have streamed 15,000,000 times, and they’ve rocked hundreds of shows. DWW has earned the respect of, and both shared the stage with, and performed with, LMFAO, Timbaland, Ludacris, ‘Lil Jon, 3oh3 and even KISS. Tim Hicks

Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts
Rocketing to the forefront of the music world in 1992, Scott Weiland has become one of music's most highly-respected and prolific artists. Now, with his sophomore solo release, Weiland proves that his music and song-writing is as potent and powerful as ever.
